• We collect what you submit in our form and basic technical data needed to run and secure the site.

What We Collect

• Title (required), Target Audience (required)
• Tags (optional), Prompt text (required)

Automatic technical data

• Standard server and security logs from our hosting provider (e.g., IP address, browser/user-agent, referring URL, timestamps, pages viewed).
• Only essential cookies/technologies to operate the site; no advertising or analytics cookies.

Why We Use It

• Provide the service: receive, review, and (where applicable) publish prompt submissions; respond to you.
• Security and operations: prevent abuse, spam, and fraud; debug and maintain reliability.
• Legal/compliance: keep records as required by law.

Legal Bases (EU/UK visitors)

• Contract/legitimate interests to operate and secure the service and handle your submission.
• Consent if we ever ask to send optional updates (not in use today).

Disclosures / Service Providers

We share data with service providers who process it on our behalf and only as needed to run Comet Prompts:

• Hosting & infrastructure: Replit (site hosting and logs).

We do not use a newsletter provider or analytics tools at this time. Personal data may be processed in the United States. Where required for international transfers, we use appropriate safeguards.

"Do Not Sell or Share"

We do not sell personal information and do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this changes, we will update this notice and provide a Your Privacy Choices link and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, and to opt out of certain processing.

How to submit a request: email info@steeptek.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We'll verify your identity and respond within the required timeframe. We won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Data Retention

• Form submissions & related emails: up to 24 months after our last interaction, or sooner upon request, unless we must keep them for legal reasons.
• Server/security logs: up to 12 months for security and troubleshooting.

We delete or anonymize data after these periods.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (TLS in transit, restricted access, least-privilege accounts). No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

Children

Our site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child provided data, contact info@steeptek.com and we'll delete it.

Changes

We'll update this policy as our service evolves and will post the effective date at the top. For material changes, we'll provide advance notice.
